I actually disagree with this. Woody has always ponied up the cash to make the team better. Owners do not know football. That’s why they hire GMs assistant GMs etc…Woody is not the issue. It’s the impatience of the fanbase and media that never allow the vision to materialize….why is Saleh and JoeD have to be on the hot seat?? Why? Joe D had an amazing draft and the team is pointing upwards it just could not overcome the injuries and bad QB play. The D went from the bottom of the league to top 10. That’s progress. Just because we didn’t go from worst to first in a year doesn’t mean people need to be on the hot seat.

Money isn't the problem. His decision making is.

Funny how people seem to think fanfic is the second coming of bellichicken or wade philips but diss nat Hackett.  Fangio is just not that good.

His defenses have ranked in the league’s top-five in yards allowed in eight of the last 13 years while placing in the NFL’s top-5 in fewest points allowed seven times over that span.

Now go and do Hacketts offenses

Vic Fangio says he has not finalized his deal with the Dolphins Per PFT.

Teams interested in hiring Vic Fangio still have a chance to do so.

Fangio told Mike Klis of 9 News in Denver that he has not finalized a deal to become the next defensive coordinator of the Dolphins.

Dolphins had to overpay to get VF this was posted a few hours after they announced his hire now they took it down, strange.

Nice Wikipedia definition. Fangio had a losing record with the broncos. Same as Hackett. Fangio’s D were always weak against the run. Breece will have a field day. Not worried.

Anyone who can a qb like Blake bottles to the playoffs is just not that bad.  Plus Hackett had some awful good seasons when he was with Green Bay and Rodgers. Offenses rely on the play of a single position way more than defenses do.

Thanks. We’re talking about success as coordinators, and Hacketts offenses are routinely bottom third of the league. That is not the case with Fangios defenses.
