Thought it was a ridiculous leap of faith to draft the kid at #2 overall. His sophomore tape and numbers (pre-COVID) were not worthy. You absolutely nailed the not wanting Rodgers piece. The only way this works out is if the Jets somehow win the Super Bowl in '24, which is extremely unlikely with fraud coach Bobby Slogans at the helm. The year the Broncos won the Super Bowl, Manning's busted neck or old age or whatever had gotten to a point where he couldn't even throw it more than 15 yards without a severe wobble.
