Mavrik
Anyone looking on the board can see that there are 8+ posts saying we are certain to take Vernon Davis...or Matt Leinart..or Vince Young or.. D'Brickashaw Ferguson or...Ngata or..Mario Williams..or trade with Baltimore...or something completely assine. Enough already. All these posts just show me that everyone (that includes sports reporters) have no flipping clue who the Jets are going to pick. Everyone and their mothers have reported that the Jets are "99 percent certain to be leaning towards this guy" when no one has an idea of who they're taking except for people in the Jets organization (and their not talking) I hope everyone is enjoying the nice smokescreen Mangini and co. are putting over everyone. Bottom Line, we're not going to know who we get till Saturday.
Shadetree
So what do we talk about for the rest of the day today, and tomorrow? The fact that the draft's impossible to figure out is the reason most of us want to talk about it. So Mavrik, who are you 99.9% sure will be a selection of the New York Jets? ANSWER!!!! YOU CAN'T RESIST!!!!!
Ryno the Jet
I agree that we will not know until Sat, and I have to say I love it! I am more excited about this draft than I have been in a long time. I even put myself in the dog house with the girlfriend (skipping out on a visit with the grandparents), but I WILL NOT miss this draft! I feel the Jets have put the right guys in power, and I love the fact that nobody has a f'n clue what the Jets will do. Of course the Jets are famous for draft day surprises, but this one might actually be a good surprise for a change.

C'mon Mods - throw some V-bets up there and give us somewhere else to go!
amuck57
mav I though that was the idea behind this board, to give all J-E-T-S fans a place to talk about and discuss are team and what we would like to happen in the draft.
BwanaZulia
I am 99% certain, that no matter what you say these posts will go on till the draft is over. Best way to avoid it is to close your browser, turn off your computer and take a walk outside. BZ

faba
Where would we go for our drama fix if we did not have the NFL draft to speculate about-maybe like a border war between two jet websites?

Bottom Line, we're not going to know who we get till Saturday. I don't know what smokescreen you think they are putting out. They don't say anything but still the anonymous sources still have them taking about 10 different guys. I have been a jet fan from day one and I can't remember a draft with such suspense. I think this situation has brought a lot of guys on to this site and some have given some intelligent thoughts as to who they think or feel the Jets should take. I for one have enjoyed the last few weeks on here. But if the draft started five minutes from now it couldn't be fast enought for me. LOL.

Mavrik
fellas, I'm not trying to knock anyone here, and I'm just as excited as what the Jets could do. All I'm saying is that some people are so certain we're gonna take this player and that player and that's the thing. We don't know who they're gonna take. I just think it's funny that the sports reporters know about as much about who the Jets are going to take as we do. So, Kudos to Mangini and Co. I honestly would like to go with D'Brick at 4, but any other pick in this deep a draft would be a sound one.

stormshadow19
Oh snap! It's on now! And, I've got to get Mav's back on this one (seeing as how I'm the only one who will). We could talk about plenty of things. Porn. Chicks. Beer. Pizza. Music. Porn. Or we can talk about how we need seven playmakers in the first four picks of the draft. Not the Jets first four picks. The first four picks of the draft. The Jets should find a way to get all four of em. Or how the Jets should trade down. Or trade for picks next year. Or how bout trading Abe for a first rounder?
