124
Mike Vick is good on Primetime TV but I just don't see the Falcons pulling this one off, even though they are the home team. 21-17, Dallas.
vanDoug
Faba, I really like Dallas to go big in this game. Last line I saw was 3.5 for D. Should not be a problem.

shawn306
Atlanta is finished. Did anyone catch Jim Mora Jr on Seattle radio Thursday ? They were asking him about the Washington Huskies coaching job. Here is the transcript. you can find on http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2698649 A transcript of the interview between Atlanta Falcons coach Jim Mora Jr. and KJR radio in Seattle: Interviewer: If it ever works out, if there's an opening, and you're available, we want you to coach the Huskies. Mora: Well, I really have a lot of respect for Ty, and I know he'll do a great job. But if he ever decides to move on, and get in the NFL or you know, go back to Notre Dame or whatever, if that job's open you'll find me at the friggin' head of the line with my resume in my hand ready to take that job. Interviewer: If you're available. Mora: It doesn't even matter if I'm available. Interviewer: So if you just won the Super Bowl, and it's available, you're there? Mora: I'd be there Interviewer: You're there, OK. Mora: Dewey, I promise you that. Now, I want to see Ty succeed, and I want to see that program succeed. But if he decides at some point that he's ready to move on and they want me, I will be there. I don't care if we're in the middle of a playoff run, I'm packing my stuff and coming back to Seattle. Interviewer: So, are you saying ... Mora: You know, it's funny, and I mean that, and I'm dead serious, the further I get away from it the more I'm drawn to it. You know, that's the job I want, so... Interviewer: You would leave the Falcons for that job? Mora: Absolutely. Interviewer: Wow. Mora: As I'm sitting here, I'm looking at a Huskies helmet. JetCane
Ditto... Money hungry bast.... I dont know if it makes me feel any better, but the network is getting terrible reviews on the Canes board. Crappy picture, bad announcers, limited camera angles. It sounds low-budget, like espnU. I hope they cut the crap and put the games back on a regular cable channel... instead opf pawning off NFL games in order to convince networks to carry NFL Net... There are only 16 games per team in the NFL... why cant we have them all on regular cable??? Ill bet baseball and the NBA have more regular cable games than the NFL per year.... Yet another example of how a lack of competition results in a dog$hit product and terrible consumer choice. Go arlen spectre! For those who don't know, he's gauging support for a bill to revoke the nfl's antitrust exception because of their ludicrous deal with direct tv. Some lobbyist's check mustve bounced. Bugg
The HD signal has dropped a bunch, and having Deion Sanders(an idiot) and Marshall Faulk(who's not bad, if he's not being crowded out by Deion's inane comments) sub for sore throated Dick Vermiel(who was subbing for Cris Collinsworth) really sucks. At one point Gumbel said Collinsworth isn't appearing because of "other obligations". NFLN only broadcasts 8 games; he couldn't take a red eye to what ever place the Fox pregame show is at tommorrow? Atlanta's only the hub they make damn near every connecting flight in America go through. What a delicate flower he is.
Bugg
Having Michael Vick as your QB is like dating a stripper-yeah, the stats are great, like she's hot and slutty. But you aren't closing the deal long-term and taking her home to mom for Sunday dinner. At some point she'll do something crazy or disloyal and that will be the end. Just like he's never winning anything that matters other than leading the NFL in tats and rap mag covers.
Jetheelz
The NFL Network games have been painful to watch because the announcing is so horrible. Gumbel is awful and Collinsworth is ok but it just doesn't work for me. I put it on mute...I just can't take it. Listening to Vermeil tonight also made things worse. Bugg
Listening to Deion Sanders for any length of time has been proven to cause massive brain cell depletion. I cannot begin to figure out who he has embarrassing photos of to keep getting these jobs. Guy has nothing remotely interesting to say.
