Barton
Out at least 6 weeks.... add 4 to that to build his arm up, makin it 10 weeks. He's done for the season. And the Yankees are too if nobody steps up barring a trade. When was the last time we had a season where everyone stayed healthy?? Every year we get at least 2 or 3 guys that hit the shelf. This year its been ridiculous with Bruney, Hughes, Kennedy, Arod, and now Wang.

You forgot Posada, and yes if Wang is in a boot 6 weeks, it will take another 4 to get his arm back on track. looks like he's done till the post season. It's no speculation that after 6 weeks of not pitching with your foot in a boot, it's going to take several more weeks to get your arm back. :clown: **Edit** Cashman just said 6 weeks in boot, 4 weeks to get arm back up to par, best case senerio for Wang's return right now is Sept. 1st, I'd say it will be more closer to Oct. Sounds like info, not speculation. :clown:

When will the Yanks get a break? Some of you Yankee fans are such whiners. Red Sox who have been on the DL or missed significant time- Ortiz Manny Dice-K Beckett Bucholz Lowell Schilling Cora Casey Credit to Theo for constructing a team that can handle some injuries, plug in some players, and keep winning. What a sh#t comparison. None of those guys have missed a significant amount of time. At least not yet. Not to mention Schilling doesnt count because they knew his situation in the offseason. You fail. Again.

Shame on the Yankees for not having a Plan B with some veteran MLB experience in Scranton. Them being known quantites is completely irrelevant. They were being counted on as much as anyone else in the rotation. Once again, the mets/sox coalition chimes in telling Yankees fans that their team's injuries arent that big of a deal. Okay, fellas. Moreso, Yankee fans bemoaning a 200 million dollar paytroll, that somehow forgot that injuries happen. Hughes and kennedy were being counted on as much as Pettite and Mussina? Really? Based on what? Their combined major league win totals? if you count on rookies to win games like veterans, you deserve everything you get. Whining or not. Zeebers
The way things looked. The Yankees were taken off the hook with the Hughes and Kennedy injuries. They pitched a significant amount of time before getting hurt. They were awful and generally getting knocked out in the 3rd or 4th inning, thus killing your pen. They're much better off going with a Rasner or Guise, someone like that for this year anyway.

Their combined major league win totals? if you count on rookies to win games like veterans, you deserve everything you get. So can you name another team thats missing 3/5 of their opening day rotation for the majority of the season? And your last 2 sentence is again, completely irrelevant. You fail.
