Thor99
Nothing to worry about Thornston You almost got it right. I'm not really worried, I expected the Sox to go out in the first round. Anything else is just gravy.
anskyruben
If a 1927 World Series banner flaps in the October wind, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? No. But when you add the other 25, they all make quite a sound waving at the same time......

Thai Jet
Streak is ov-ah The streak wasn't going to last forever. Still 11 straight is quite impressive. Hats off to the Angels bullpen. They got the job done tonite.
Garb
Ah, it's beautiful, 'aint it? 45 degree temps - games lasting 'till midnight...nope, not talking Monday night football here, folks. Baseball. Major league baseball. If I weren't wishing for Manny and his new team to thump the sox in the WS, I'd be hoping for a Red Sox collapse now - not later - now. CrazyCarl40
Jon Lester for the Sox tonight after a loss. He pitched ridiculously well after Sox losses throughout the season and was their ace and stopper, I think he gets it done tonight.

Garb
How much would you love it if Jason Bay takes Derek Lowe deep over Manny's head as the series clincher? Not as much as I would love to see Francona keep Lowell at third and having Manny hit a dribbler right to him - and BAM! A Buckneresque moment. Can you imagine? It would be the second greatest thing that ever happened to Dan Shaughnnesey.
Thai Jet
So you admit that there is no way of proving they might be loud. That's a valid point. Thai Jet
Fenway Parks rockin tonite. Jason Bay scores the winner with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th. Red Sox win 3-2 and take the series 3 games to one.

Sharrow
Sucks seeing Bay in a Red Sox uniform. Also sucks when you actually are happy for one of your favorite players to get shipped out of town because you know that if he stayed with your team for the rest of his career, he'd never get a shot at a championship.
