Symphony to take a pay cut Posted: 7:54 a.m. today For the second time in a year, the musicians union representing players in the North Carolina Symphony agreed to a pay cut to help with the organization's financial picture. Most members will see their pay cut 15 percent over the next two fiscal years as the symphony attempts to dig out of the hole left by the recession. Conductor Grant Llewellyn agreed to a 10 percent cut, the symphony said. Musicians saw their pay cut 17 percent in July 2009 after the organization's budget was cut from from $14.1 million to $11.9 million, according to the Director of Communications Jeannie Mellinger. How can we get more women interested in (see banana image above) if we refer to it as an insult? We're linguistically shooting ourselves in the foot here. Consider the following examples, and spread the word on this: "The symphony sucked!" "Christmas sucked!" "That pay raise and making partner blows!" We need to stick together on this. LOL No, what I am eluding to is that LT is a pig and most guys (I'd like to include myself in that group) are not pigs. Posting images of women in compromising positions and the like is a far cry of paying and having (not proven yet) sex with a minor is well, not exactly the same thing...am I wrong here? Women and men are just on two different frequencies and I doubt men understand enough about ourselves to sit down and explain it to women. The best best is to teach your kids about sex and self respect...Also, try not to be so Puritan about it and realize that your kids are probably having sex if they're old enough and attractive enough to the opposite sex.
