Before trading up, that was our pick. Why on earth would we draft a player thats only worth one measly pick?. Doesn't make sense. Better to trade for Freeman later, see. That way we can spend several picks moving out of the #17 spot to avoid Freeman, then we can trade for him using several more draft picks later on. Now we have a great quarterback worth, like, a half-dozen picks. You starting to follow me? You'll get it. Just keep watching Tanny do his magic. It'll all make sense eventually.
