Shadetree's Doghouse Dude of the Week....

Geno Smith.

The pick 6 was god-awful. The INT throw to Nelson in the endone was almost as bad.

He's a drive killer, good for 2-4 turnovers a game. Frustrating to see him make some good plays, then have a complete brain fart.

He can rifle it straight ahead without fear, which is nice, but lacks touch and accuracy on passes that call for it way too often.

I wanted to pick morhinweg cause his play calling hasn't impressed at all, but Geno's play trumped that decision.

Love this segment, and Geno is definitely that guy. Huuuuuge acid test next week vs Donkey Kong

Thanks for the suggestion. I was hoping it would be a tough choice, but those INTs absolutely crush momentum.

Did I hear the announcer correctly when he said they had the ball 7 times inside the 25 yd line?!? I wish I was the type to re-watch games but I'm not. Morhinweg has got to be culpable in some of this.

Lions and Megatron next...sheesh

I can't decide which is worse...

Pick 6 or end zone pick to Nelson

Both plays left one saying, "why would he even throw that?"

Steve young had a great point at end of the game....said something like "this offense seems to only find success when things are frenetic and hurried. They need to start having success out of the huddle. They are wasting the effort of the defense."

i can say i'm not happy with Geno's performance last night.  BAD turnovers, taking bad sacks again and missing wide open receivers.  that being said, he's a good QB and i'm happy to watch him develop.

this loss was on Rex/Marty/Idizk, Geno and as much as i don't want to blame the refs, bad officiating.

If your going to say that a QB is good for 2-4 turnovers a game, wouldn't it help if he had a game with 4 turnovers?

Or three?
