    • I’d like to see NE #1 on this list next year.
    • I watched that, too. It’s nice to hear the names yelled out that they did eventually draft, but it’s also pretty clearly edited, lol. Kinda like how their attempts to trade up for a WR in the first were completely whitewashed into Fashanu being their guy all along. Would’ve been fun to hear the other names people in the room shouted out, too, but, oh well. Davis got a couple audible votes, which was cool, but you have to wonder if that was in reaction to all the head-scratching over the pick in the first place.
    • I'll be honest, I did not understand the pick, but calling it "nonsensical" is a little ridiculous, especially after watching 1JD and seeing every single scout in the room all say "Isiah Davis" when the time came. The entire room was on the same page in drafting him at that moment, which should tell you something. I am, by no means, a scout, nor am I anything more than an armchair GM. I trust those guys in that room and if they all were in agreement, that should tell you something. One thing you have to admire with all of this is that JD is building a backfield that has loads of young talent all on rookie contracts. When it comes time to pay Breece, which will be very soon, we will have a young backfield behind him that not only will be cheap, but will allow Breece to ease off on the mileage and risk for potential injury again. I am really impressed with certain parts of this roster and how they have been put together.
