BroadwayJoe12
Since Geno Smith and Jarvis Jones will be long gone, I'm hopping aboard the Mike Glennon train in the second round. Unless there's an OLB like Mingo, Monty or whomever available that we think is good enough in the first, we should just go ahead grab Chance Warmack (which is most likely what will happen since sanchez will win a few meaningless games to continue his otherwordly job security), Glennon in the 2nd, another OG and OLB in the rest of the draft and lets see what the kid's got. **I know this won't happen and is completely a reactionary thread, I just needed a thread to talk about future College QBs to at least give myself a glimmer of hope that we could see someone else under center for the NY Jets next year. Matt39
As much as I don't like him, he's probably my favorite QB in the draft. At least he has the size and arm.

derp
Pretty much this. I'll third that. He should at the very least be able to be comparable to Flacco with a decent amount of upside beyond that. His accuracy isn't too bad either, does pretty well with pressure in his face (though he had a terrible sequence against UNC when they kept blitzing), and gets little to no help from his supporting cast. CrazyCarl40
Doubt they take a QB where Glennon is going to go unless they cut ties with Tebow or Sanchez. The latter being very unlikely. I could see one in the later rounds but my best guess is they bring in a vet back up in the offseason.

SenorGato
Wilson isn't bad (relative to the others in this draft), just forgotten. That's what you get for being named Tyler.
#27TheDominator
I have a feeling he is going to move up draft boards. Brad Sorenson?

CrazyCarl40
Kiper said this morning if he plays well in the Music City Bowl and the Senior Bowl he could see him going in Top 10. He just said on Sportscenter that he'll probably be the first QB taken. So the Jets won't get him.

JayKwaz
Sean Renfree is looking good in Dukes bowl game. Nice size, decent arm. Moves around real well for a big guy. His wr Conner Vernon is looking pretty good also.

Darrellegivesmeaboner#24
Mike Glennon is my favorite QB in this draft. In a perfect world, we would draft Dion Jordan and trade up to get Glennon in late round 1.
Matt39
The Jets would have a guy named Tyler be their QB. Sanchez's name should be Tyler.
SenorGato
I don't hate Landry Jones either, but don't like him enough to take him in the first.

afosomf
3 picks today against.... Vanderbilt. I know it's just one game, but, yikes. It's only the 3rd quarter. 4th rd talent at best, prob goes higher than should in draft, terrible pocket presence and not mobile. A perfect pick for jets in rd
LAD_Brooklyn
Can't beleive you guys even discuss getting him in the 1st. He's not really moblie nor accurate.

bitonti
Kiper believes Glennon is the 1st QB off the board, if he has a great senior bowl. not advocating for him but 9 is about right for that scenario. at the very least the Jets have to be aware of Mike Glennon in trade-down scenarios. nycdan
Some site compared Glennon to Derek Anderson (not the one-year wonder version). Sounds about right. What else ya got?
Darrellegivesmeaboner#24
I am still on this bandwagon. I like his size and arm talent. He seems to go through his progressions well. His receivers on NC State were terrible, I think if you give this guy NFL caliber receivers he will develop nicely.
bitonti
this QB class is the absolute stinkiest. DO not look to 2013 draft to solve anyone's QB problem. I pity the fool who drafts Barkley or Geno Smith in the top 10.
