unbanmadmike1
Lacy is too much like Shonn Greene. I'd rather go Gio Bernard.

Greenseed4
Factor in the Revis trade, and we can get 2 in the first, 2 in the 2nd. That to me is: Jarvis Jones and DJ Fluker (first) and WR, TE (second)
John Idzik - READ THIS
Lacy is too much like Shonn Greene. I'd rather go Gio Bernard. ----- > Lacy's explosiveness puts him in a whole different category. He runs a 4.44 40 time where greene only runs a 4.62 40. Eddie Lacy is a raw talent coming from the best football program in the country. Eddie Lacy is a player who can have an immediate impact and also can create offensive plays where the jets would need him to do so. I think Lacy is right choice in Round 2 for the jets if they want to have any chance at a Superbowl next year. He's a player who they shouldn't pass up. HessStation
Bernard is gone by their 2nd pick unless he sucks up his combine or pro day. I don't think Lacy comparisons to Greene are fair. That said, not sure either he or Manuel (whom i'm somewhat a fan of, out of the QB group) fit the new offensive system anyway.
sirlancemehlot
Lacy is too much like Shonn Greene. I'd rather go Gio Bernard. What do Lacy and Gio have in common? I'll give you a hint: Warmack. Cooper. That's where I'd go with the draft.

Yeah, I have no problem with Warmack at 9 or Cooper if they traded back for extra picks.

You have to remember that 1) Lacy played behind an NFL offensive line in college and 2) he wasn't the best RB on his own team. He was basically used as a change of pace back. John Idzik - READ THIS
I think EJ Manuel has the edge over Tyler Wilson. I believe his potential as a starting quarterback in the NFL is what could make him one of the best picks in the draft.

Better fit.
