Lacy status week two to be decided

I have Lacy and due to concussion I will play it safe and sit him probably  vs a good Jets run defense in Week 2. I will go with Gio, RegBush and either Ellington or his handcuff, Dwyer,  who I picked up this morning in Week 2. Play Lacy Week 3 if he isnt still slap happy

Ellington apparently got hurt too and is definitely out Sunday and may miss significant time.

Pretty sure the protocol is no contact for 10 days depending on the severity which would mean he's out.

Not true, he could play this Sunday if he passes tests this week,, with his previous concussion they may play safer.. No 10 day rule,, GB coach was just saying 'lack doesnt have to play for 10 days cause of bye'

Thanks for posting...its about the overall progress not a set # of days...thought it seems all offseason the magic number was 10.  Maybe a little less urgency when it doesnt count?

I found this from 2013 Protocols.  Don't know if it's changed.

From the article:

A player feeling normal one day after the game might pass cognitive testing Tuesday and begin a light exercise program, intensify their exercise routine Wednesday, participate in non-contact aspects of practice on Thursday and return to full practice Friday. But if a player has a history of concussions or isn't progressing as quickly as planned, the process moves accordingly.

If not mistaken consecutive days of no symptoms is required.

Schefter just tweeted Bulaga tore his MCL, tough break for him, but that week 2 game is there for the taking, we need to capitalize on opportunities like these if we want to get into the playoffs.

That sucks for him.

Lacy or no Lacy, I'm not really worried about us losing to an opposing rush attack. However, with their pass-protection compromise it improves our chances of getting to Rodgers before he can pick about our sh*tbag secondary.
