More likely he gets small residuals every time it airs and in every market. but it adds up. think about how there's NBC 4 in NY and NBC 10 in Philly, literally every media market, the actor is paid out a small fee for a commercial. There are thousands of markets in America which make a national commercial worth while. The really exciting part is when they play the same commercial for multiple months or even years.
