Sheldon Richardson will be playing in the 2015 Pro Bowl after all. Richardson, the Jets' second-year defensive tackle, was notified today that he will be playing in this season's game, to be held at University of Phoenix Stadium on Jan. 25, one week before the Super Bowl. Richardson, an alternate in the defensive tackle balloting that selected six DTs when the original Pro Bowl roster was announced Dec. 23, is replacing Tampa Bay's Gerald McCoy, who is unable to participate in the game due to injury. Thus center Nick Mangold will have company in green and white at this year's game. Mangold was the only Jet originally selected to be on the field for this game, playing for either Michael Irvin's team or Cris Carter's team.

Congrats, big guy. Well deserved!

Finally, Rex Ryan developed a ProBowler.  Only took him getting fired.

Meh, not getting voted in for the NFL's annual most popular player bowl doesn't mean guys weren't playing at a PB level, but I get what you're sayin'.

Waiting for Mangold to be on one team, Sheldon to be on the other, and for both to get hurt running into each other on some sweep or toss play.

Because we're the f'ing Jets, thats why.

Cheer up. Rex is gone, Idzik is gone. It's a new era. No more negativity.
