I saw the 2nd half, it was a  total joke.  2 fouls the entire half?  zero FTAs, again I ask what was the big problem in the 1st half when you went to the line 11 times to 3 for UVa?  Please explain?  of course you can't b/c you don't understand what you are watching if you even were watching.  nowhere can you counter what I wrote so you take shots.

Your "points" are not even worth addressing.  They, like you, are such utter garbage.

I caught some of the nova/virginia game, really fun to watch. nova really amped up the defensive intensity during the run late, its refreshing to see a basketball game played with such intensity

still have fond memories of watching eddie P slam alley oops from the friars when I went to their camp way back when.  such an odd sight, yet they made it seem so normal, lol

just say you have nothing, it's a nicer way to live rather than insult people just b/c they disagree with you.  you couldn't counter anything, 24 FTAs to THREE, TWO fouls the entire second half.  Give me a break, it's ok to admit you got more help.

As EY addressed in a thread on the main board, it's now become established that junc lacks the cognitive complexity to realize when his points are wrong.  He just doubles down on his stupid arguments.  So, in his mind, he's always right.  Always.

Can't fix it, can't argue with it, can't find a psychologist willing to touch that.  He is what he is, and it's what he'll always be.

so you see no issue w/ 24 FTAs to 3 for a game? no issue w/ 2 fouls called against them in the 2nd half?  you can hurl insults all you want, I get it, I understand what you guys are all about but please address 34 FTAs to 3 when UVA took 10 more shots and both attempted similar #s of 3s(only 2 more for UVa). Please explain rather than hurl childish insults as hard as that may be.

Yeah we have no shot at jumping into the Top 25 next week even if we go 2-0 to improve to 21-2.  USC (who was getting less votes than us in both polls this week) beating # 7 UCLA hurt too.

Oh well.

Are you all in Wichita St and Illinois State's shoes where you likely need to win the conference tournament to make it? March Madness needs to get here faster, getting bored here mid-season atm

Yeah, we've lost 2 straight, so our at-large chances are basically dead.  Just positioning for the conference tournament now.

3 straight 30 point wins going into a HUGE match up with Kentucky tomorrow for my Gators.  Kentucky hasnt been looking as good lately dropping 2 of their last 3 and letting UGA take them to over time.  Can my boys pull of an upset in the O'dome???

definitely can beat them IMO, they dont have cauley-stein type rim protection or a good post player from what ive seen

latest AP poll, nice to see a small school like Monmouth getting some votes, they got screwed out of an at large bid last year.

UNC got hosed last night! Totally unfair officiating! If you watched that game, and don't think the refs were completely unfair, and that UNC got hosed, you do NOT know what you're talking about.

Sometimes special connections just aren't enough.

Pretty remarkable how even that rivalry has been over the years though.  Duke now holds a 49-48 edge over the last 97 meetings, and the total point advantage they have is just 8 points, represented by last night's margin of victory (the 2 teams had scored exactly the same number of points against each other over the previous 96 combined).

don't be angry b/c you know nothing about college basketball and you have one your 2 title thanks to horrible officiating where 'nova could do what they wanted and carolina was called for touch fouls all night.  enjoy your little title, Carolina will have many more chances, you guys may get another one in 30 years.

as for the game, you can't ask for a better officiated game in Cameron.  they let the teams play- both teams. Carolina lost mostly b/c they couldn't hit FTs, duke played as well as they could and if Carolina just hits some FTs they win the game. Congrats to duke, see you in a few weeks.

Last night's Duke game was officiated just fine even with the phantom #4 foul on Allen. Tatum asserted himself and Duke won. BANG!

it was officitated as well as you can expect at Cameron, one of the best officiated games I have seen there.  sure they missed some calls but it wasn't in favor of one team over the other.

duke played as well as they could play, Carolina was w/o one of their best players and was terrible at the FT and still nearly pulled it out.  I hate losing to that team but I feel pretty good.

On a side note, lots of lovey/dovey stuff with Williams and Coach K. Look to you like two guys about at the end of great careers?

they both have to be a lot closer to the end.  I would say neither will be around in another 5-7 years but we'll see.

it was a good game, no controversial plays.  again, there will always be bad calls here and there but it was well officiated.  Looking forward to the rematch where hopefully the Heels will be able to clinch another ACC title.

Allen was incredible. He has to be one of, if not, the toughest kids coach K has ever had. So good, but so many loose screws.

he is a great college player but he's one play away from going over the edge.  we'll see if he can last.

I like their team speed and they have excellent shooters and strong rebounders. Gonzaga is a contender too but they tend to choke in the tourney. If Duke can make the Sweet 16 I'll be OK with that. Team was overrated by everyone. Including me. Giles and Bolden have been stiffs and Jackson has been OK but definitely needs more seasoning.
