CrazyCarl40
Ohio State has produced a lot of high quality linebackers over the years. Jury still out on the one the Jets decided to draft.

Best part about it is a move-up was available from our spot. We traded the pick to Oakland, who used it to swap picks with Seattle. Al Davis then took Fabian Washington because of his obsession with 40 times. Rodgers was taken with the next pick. But hey, we didn't need him since we had Pennington (coming off a rotator cuff injury). As opposed to the Packers, who only had Brett Favre. Rodgers was available to whomever it was that held the #26 pick (the Raiders had no problem trading up from that slot to #23, the pick ahead of the Packers, for a 4th rounder). Of course we didn't even bother to wait to see who'd be there. Bradway just had to have Doug Jolley lol. He made that trade a couple days before the draft even started, bonehead that he was. The trade in a vacuum was dumb to begin with. Trading a 1st rounder for a TE? It definitely shows that Macc's second draft wa better than his first, in terms of overall quality, and that first draft was still done with Bradway's scouts

After a year in New York, he was traded from the Jets to Tampa Bay for a sixth round draft pick.

We did get back Oakland's mid-2nd rounder (which Bradway promptly used on a freaking kicker).
