Hopefully the Jets do this to some of us. (hoping it doesn't take this long)

99-year-old Vikings superfan gets free tickets to Super Bowl

By Frank Miles

January 15, 2018 | 7:43pm

The Minnesota Vikings’ shock 29-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints may have been because of more than just wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ 61-yard touchdown. A very special superfan in attendance, 99-year-old Millie Wall, could have given the team the boost it needed.

Wall has been a Vikings fan since its inception in 1961 — but Sunday was her first time at the playoffs.

She’d never been able to attend any of their 21 playoff games, and the team, which hadn’t won a playoff game at home since 2009, made sure to have her there.

“I’m overwhelmed,” she said about her newfound celebrity, according to Fox 9. ”I can’t believe the reaction this is getting, and I’m stunned.”

Now, thanks to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, she’s heading to the Super Bowl as well, according to Fox 9. Free tickets to the game — conveniently being held at the Vikings’ stadium on February 4 — are an early 100th birthday present from the league.

According to Fox 9, there are online requests to help Wall see the Vikings take on the Eagles Sunday in Philadelphia — including a GoFundMe page and the aptly-titled hashtag #MillieToPhilly on Twitter.

Wall, who turns 100 on Independence Day, enjoyed the game and her screwdriver cocktail — her drink of choice she usually sips while watching the Vikings from her living room.

“I think they did a wonderful job,” Wall said, according to Fox 9. ”They made me very happy.”

They showed this poor woman trying to watch the Vikings pull off the win, while Goodell's ginger mane of deceit shrouded her view... she looked like she wanted to kiss him only to absorb his life force and live another 100 years.

That insensitive, glad-handing goon had to make a spectacle of his good will, telling a camera crew to get him in the act of nicey-nicing her. What a sh*t heel. He's a politician and corporations commish, that's for damn sure. If he gave a **** about fans, he wouldn't be interrupting a 99-year olds game experience. He'd wait until after, when no cameras are on, and reach out to her.

After reading the title, I thought this was going to be weird considering everything the Jets have done to their fans in the last 48.9 years

I will take a free ticket if I live to 99 and the Jets actually make it to a SuperBowl

What about a more realistic 199 years old?

hmm, don't give J&J any ideas, they could probably fit the ashes of every JetNation member in 2017 into 1 or 2 seats -  now that would make a headline - free tix to over 10,000 former members of JetNation.com

real hard core fans want thier ashes to see the game :)
