Lol imagine if we had drafted one of the other highly rated QBs that the fake Mahomes/Watson lovers were pining over? Guys who “just wanted a QB because we needed a QB”?

Roger Goodall steps up to the mic and booms  “With the 6th pick in the 2017 NFL draft, the New York Jets select Deshone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame.”

How great does Jamal Adams look now?

The fake hindsight 20-20 love for  Mahomes is LOLworthy but Watson?

hey brain geniouses who wanted us to draft a better player than Adams: what if we had drafted a worse player instead? QED bitch

Yup.  No reason to talk about draft positioning anymore, now that Macc is gone.  Let’s just hope Douglas is savvy enough to draft his replacement in the 4th round two years from now so we don’t have to pay top dollar for a guy who doesn’t impact football games.

Well, lets be fair.  Mac was the worst GM that ever walked the face of the planet and assembled the worst crew of misfits the world has ever seen.  Todd Bowles was actually worse than Rich Kotite.   And while yes, that was all Jamal Adams fault, he could aways point the finger.  Well, this year the Prez doesnt have the luxury of passing the buck anymore.  If the Jets arent good again, the blame will fall directly on 1 player, Jamal Adams.

Oh and if the Jets are good, it wont be because Jamal Adams is good and impacts Football games, it will be because Gregg Williams and Adam Gase did things that nobody can explain.   If they're not good, there will be some who still blame Mac and Bowles but for the really smart dudes, who know what they're talking about, it will be the fault of a guy who plays a position of low importance.

You see, this stuff is all very logical.

At least this is something worth discussing.

Blaming Jamal for not being a better GM shares similar reasoning to thinking that Parcells was net positive for the Jets. Both are really stupid thoughts.

He was sensational for the Jets last year and is a game-changing type safety who is still just a young player.

Eddie Jackson is 67 on Prisco’s list, which means it’s Hot Taek Szn
