Because of his poor play (join the club) or the rumor that he was leaking personal conversations to the press. Or was it just to sign Rypien a player they were interested in. Since he was on the team for preseason and all season and knows the offense etc you'd think they'd have kept him. Saleh at one of his pressers only had good things to say about him basically said it was a numbers game with a chance for the team to re-sign him to PS. But I didn't believe a word he said. Boyle was right there in the Jets lap and just because he had that argument with Rodgers, they cut him and have now sacrificed even more on behalf of our new 40 year old owner.
