Did McDonald meet those well known standards in 2023? You mean "not much" as it was described? Considering JJ and Huff were both lighting it up last year McDonald wasn't called on much to be the guy. For the most part he had no control of his playing time but still produced 3 sacks in his limited play. This year he is being called on to be the guy and according to this article below which talks about his frustration with such little playing time last year, he says he's gaining weight to go from 237 up to 250+ Lbs. Hope his weight gain doesn't set him back as it did to, I only bull rush!, Clemons. https://www.ganggreennation.com/2024/2/9/24065737/report-first-round-pick-will-mcdonald-frustrated-role-in-first-year-draft-ny-jets-jermaine-johnson

In common usage, the word shtick has also come to mean any talent, style, habit, or other eccentricity for which a person is particularly well known, even if not intended for comedic purposes. For example, a person who is known locally for an ability to eat dozens of hot dogs quickly might say that it was his shtick. Or another example, someone who exhibits extreme over the top and unjustified praise and positivity about everything single decision an NFL GM makes and who ends his posts with "Thank You Joe Douglas, Thank You".

Dunnie
I just watched footage from phone calls by JD, Saleh etc to inform Corley he was Jets selection. They all said the same thing to him which was kind of dumb "stay angry." I know what they mean on the field but you don't want the guy to be angry all the time and esp angry at you. ... This is our HC ... At least he didn't say "Stay Angry .. 60% of the time ... And only if Eagles are baring down"Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Bobby816
What do you think the odds are that Corley has better stats than Odunze as a rookie? Both are 3rd options in the pass game at WR for their teams.
