JETSFAN5180
Both seem to likely be available at the end of the season.Do we consider bringing in either one or both? Moss can be had for a 3rd round pick or McCareins even up. Favre im not sure? Maybe Ramsey and 4th round pick?
Smizzy
Ill pass on both.
The Troll
Moss is getting up there in years and it seems like he really doesn't care anymore. He's not the same guy he was in Minnesota and I doubt he ever will be again. There is no point in bringing in Brett Favre. I wouldn't be pissed if they did, because I am a Brett Favre fan, however, I want to win a championship. That is my goal. I don't think a 38-year old Brett Favre will take us there. JETSFAN5180
Both are enticing IF Mangini parts ways with Chad. OR if the Jets WIN the Super Bowl Chad will certainly retire. Favre has ALOT of game left in him.Moss has been well rested with the sputtering Offense in Oakland.Id take them both.

war ensemble
We don't need them. Favre is past his prime, at this point in time I'd rather have Pennington that him. Moss is a cancer, not a Mangini-type player. Keep the picks... and Ramsey. I doubt Mangini will be too interested in either player.
Sperm Edwards
We are not parting with Chad Pennington next year. Even if Clemens starts next year, there would be like $2M at best in cap relief, all of which would go towards another backup QB.
faba
Whether you have liked him or not in his career Favre should retire as a Packer.
tparich
I don't know how close Chad and Randy are after thier college days but if they have a good relationship then I think it's worth a shot as long as the price isn't to high.

L.S. Dylan
Can moss be happy as the 3rd receiver? But if this was a perfect world i certainly wouldn't mind seeing chad and moss reunite

DireJet38
Can moss be happy as the 3rd receiver? No. And he makes more than a thrid reciever should. But stranger things have happened, check out J-mac's contract. Best paid 3rd reciever in the leauge.
theinlawjosie
I would love to see Penny and Moss back together again. I live really close to Marshall and what we saw here in the MAC days of Marshall when Chad was still with Moss was nothing short of magic for a program that had all but disbanded. I think most people would be surprised with what could happen with these two back together again, and I think Randy has a lot of respect for Chad......The only reason Moss is suffering this year is b/c he doesn't feel like playing for a team that doesn't want to win. rizzock
Moss will not be traded for a third. Dont believe that false rumor.
#27TheDominator
Whether you have liked him or not in his career Favre should retire as a Packer. Could you imagine the uproar in GB if they traded Favre for Ramsey and a #4?

L.I.MikeBleedsGreen
I would not take farve only b/c he should retire as a Packer and his age(38 is way to high) ,but randy is a toss up ,Only b/c of his work ethic. To see Chad and randy again would be kinda interesting, but i don't think randy is a mangini kind of guy though.
ECURB
if the Jets WIN the Super Bowl Chad will certainly retire. You forgot your srcasm smiley... (()) Why the hell would he retire??? He would want to come back even mroe healthy with a better team and try to win again is what he would do... Your statement is EVERYTHING that Chad is not, he is not a quitter...he will play untill nobody lets him. I think you should already know this. mbn007
There was a similar thread the other day on the topic of Moss for next season. Basically, I can't see Mangini - Tannenbaum being interested in his attitude, in spite of his obvious talents.
