San Diego County.....10 minutes from da beach !

I was at Imperial Beach in SD 23 years ago, there used to be a titty bar called the inn spot south that I used to frequent. a lot of Navy personnel there from what I remember.

I don't think there are any tittie bars there anymore. They are all in the Sports Arena area, outrside MCRD. The Jarines love to frequent them.

Most of IB is a cespool these days.

I can't wait, you're right! :Typotux:

I heard there's been some changes since the last time I was there. no more Stardust :( , and the Barbary Coast changed it's name :( , those two places kick start my good feelings when I'm on a losing streak.

If that dump slots-of-fun is still standing in front of Circus Circus, and Casino Royale is across from the Mirage I'm still good to go. I'm a superstitious guy.

How was your vacation?

Relaxing. There was rain parts of everyday on the coast but overall it was nice. Went up to Maine as well. Put 1077 miles on the Cruiser. Thank God the gas was only $2.67 in New Hampshire. Still $3.03 when we got back here.

Slots-o-fun was still there in April bill. That pig Trump has one of his condo towers going up near Circus Circus. Gold of course.

Nice!

I did the White Mountains of NH in October 04 and it was amazing scenery.

Damn, $2.60 is the going rate here in Jersey :bag:

Glad you had a relaxing time :)

It came close to $3 but went back down recently. it costs me $34 to fill up that little truck.

I know what you mean. Ro's Town and Country has a 20 gallon tank and it's cost her over $60 in the past to fill it. I'm still surprised that you drive a foreign trunk. I always pictured you in a Chevy or GMC.

That's the first foreign truck I've ever owned. my friend sold me on that 6 cylinder Toyota engine when he put 375,000 miles on his 1986 4runner and only had to change the exhaust manifold. :confused0061:

My previous truck was an F-150

Good call ;)

Can't argue with 375,000 miles. How's yours on gas for a highway trip? I know they are geared different for more power but I was curious . The Cruiser (5spd) gets around 29-30 while the minivan (V6 auto) only gets 25.

I never really did the numbers on it. I would fill up here in central Jersey and be at 1/4 of a tank by the time I get to Boston, that's about 250 miles. it's not bad. I have to get one of those net tail gates to improve gas mileage.
