Bachelors3
http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2009/03/cleveland_browns_are_popular_i.html The rumored trade is Jay Cutler and Denver's 3rd Round Pick to Cleveland for Brady Quinn and Shaun Rogers. I make that trade in a nano-second. Yet this article says the Browns have someone as good as Cutler named Derek Anderson and would get shortchanged in this rumored deal. I don't know but they must be smoking something pretty good. What do you people think? BTW, the article begins funny because they are already crying about Mangini's "Cloak of Secrecy." Damaged89
Mangini sure loves the 3-4 without nose tackles.
Bachelors3
I agree with you all but this guy from Cleveland is saying that the Browns are getting the worst of it. But I guess that there would be reporters here saying not to trade KC for Jay Cutler, as well.

They worship Quinn out here, he can do no wrong to Browns fans, thats really all there is to them feeling it would be worse. Though losing Rogers sure wont help that already crummy defense. C-Mart28
cleveland = Notre dame fans Doesnt help that Quinn is an Ohio native, they want their Golden Boy to lead them to the promised land. They just keep forgetting that they are the Browns.

I think I'd pull the trigger on it. Cutler is a proven NFL QB who wants out of Denver. Rodgers wants out of Cleveland. Do it ! plus you can then trade Andersen for a high pick. Aten
The problem with this rumor is the Browns get shortchanged. Cutler is kind of an upgraded version of Derek Anderson -- rocket arm, inconsistent, not a great field general. Also, dealing Rogers would leave a huge void in the middle of Eric Mangini's defense -- one that 2008 draft pick Ahtyba Rubin could not come close to filling. Rogers' inclusion in this trade should command Denver's No. 1 in return. You cannot make this **** up. This town is made for Mangini.
