Should we trade for Vjax too?

What do you guys think? Do the Jets need another WR? Things to note are his skills (true #1 WR), age (almost 32) and contract (10 mill this year non-guaranteed)

Below is the report from yahoo fantasy and Ian Rapoport, of course they are sill rumors.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Buccaneers are "open" to trading Vincent Jackson.

Advice: "They are getting a ton of calls on him," Rapoport said. "With just one win, I'm told they are open to anything even though they love him as a player." Jackson has a $10 million non-guaranteed base salary, and a $9.8 million non-guaranteed base salary in 2015. If the Buccaneers traded away Jackson, they could move forward with Mike Evans as Mike Glennon's No. 1 receiver. V-Jax turns 32 in January. We suspect he could be had for a third-round pick.

I hope not. Harvin makes sense. Vjax would make sense if we were one or two players away.

I wouldn't be able to keep down the chubby if we made that trade, but when I came down it would be the same feeling  as oh so many nights I regret in my life. :D

The great thing about a player like VJax is the qb doesn't need to be super accurate as the target is huge and athletic. It's kinda like when Eli early in his career had Plaxico. He was just chucking it in Plax's general direction and allowing him to go up and get it.

Also, with a player like VJax along with Decker and Harvin, defenses would be scrambling, allowing Ivory/CJ to go off. I think we have a good enough D that with whatever draft next year, free agency, and guys back from IR, we could make a decent showing if we added a player like this. Do it this year and let them start getting in-game practice now. Not a terrible move if they were to do it.

Now THIS guy is a great player. would take him over harvin any day, age notwithstanding. even at 32, he is in great shape and plays his ass off. a good team mate and a leader. he is actually worth the money.

but getting a guy like this makes way too much sense, so obviously we're gonna pass on him.
