Bleedin Green
Martin wasn't a first ballot HOFer (he got in during his second year of eligibility) and, fair or not, Davis hasn't gotten in because his entire career is essentially based around 4 seasons. Gale Sayers career was also based on 4 great seasons. If Sayers is a Hall of Famer, then in my opinion, Terrell Davis should also be.
Shadetree
I agree with gale Sayers comparison....plus TDs not a dooshy jock announcer ... He's even keeled. Makes him easy to like. I get angry when I hear ray Lewis on a telecast. I can't stand his voice. Beyond nauseating. Same with Irvin. Two HOF dooshes. Go TD!! The real HOF conversation we should be having is the travesty of no Joe Klecko. Utter disgrace. I won't set foot in the hall unless he's in it. RSJ
What also hurts Davis is that Denver continually put pedestrians back there and they ran for 1000 yards.
Larz
broncos o-line cut and chopped like dirty whores, you could put any back in there and he was good for 1400 cuz the d-line was just trying to stay healthy

Obrien2Toon
Terrell Davis was a product of his system. Guys like Orlandis Gary and mike Anderson stepped in when he was out and put up the same exact stats. Then Clinton Portis came and put up even better stats. I've always said Terrell Davis is the most overrated player in NFL history, besides Eli of course.

Shadetree
TD is lucky that Sayers is in. If Sayers is in, TD should be in. It's no-brainer, IMO.

T.Davis is a class act..... but his career was so short. only 4 complete seasons. Sayers played 7 years and was the greatest kick / punt returner of his generation. But I would agree that it is frustrating when these great players get hurt and their stats are not what could have been. T. Davis in football. Koufax and Mantle in baseball could have had monumental stats if they stayed healthy.
