Movies We've Seen Thread

Ha.  My family has a grudge against that movie.  My cousin was linked to a project based on the Stephen King novel.  They had trouble because they didn't want them to use the same name, and I think there was some funding trouble because King takes such a big fee off the top.  It is going on ten years now and the thing still has not been made.

I hate Stephen King.

St. Vincent was bleh. Entertaining but cliche, honestly it's the type of plot Murray seems to hold himself above doing nowadays. Don't get me wrong, he is very good in it, and my guess is he wanted to stretch himself by playing a stroke victim...but the whole feelgood, triumphant storyline, it's been done too many times already.

It was nice seeing that Melissa McCarthy has some range though. I like her a lot.

MICHAEL SHANNON IS IN GROUNDHOGS DAY WHAT THE HELL THIS IS THE MOST MIND BLOWING THING I HAVE DISCOVERED EVER

Gerard Butler was in the bodyguard

Angelina Jolie was in Hackers

Courtney Cox was in The He-Man movie

Jennifer Aniston was in Leprechaun

Matthew Mcconaghey and Renee Zellweger were both in a straight to VHS Texas Chainsaw sequel

Brad Pitt and James Gandolfini both in True Romance

David Duchovny was the star of the soft core porn show Red Shoe Diaries

And Sylvester Stallone was in Bananas in 1972 and in a porno movie before that.

True romance is a great movie.

I finally saw the original Taking of Pelham 123...Robert Shaw was a great actor.

Devil's Advocate is infinitely rewatchable.

Neighbors was meh.

Broken Kingdom was worth a watch.

Neighbors was awful. I'm not getting this new generation and it's taste in movies.

BTW, if you're still a dweeb that hasn't seen John Wick, you're missing this sh*t

Worth every ounce of hype. Enjoyed the entire movie, every actor killed in their roles too. Tight, felt like they didn't waste a word or action.

Btw: actors as assassins is probably a real thing.

Been watching clips on YouTube of the Chinese movie The Raid which John Wick is supposedly based on. Pretty hard hitting action lots of hammers to the shin.

The Raid and Raid 2 are balls to the walls awesome. The last 30 minutes of 2 was some of the best sh*t ever.
