So your saying Sanchez should get us to a Super Bowl soon?

No all I am saying is that for the first 3 years Sanchez' stats are pretty much the same as Brees and Manning. Also he clearly has had much more success than the other two in first three years with 2 AFC champioship games and the history of comeback wins. The drop in production for him may be as a result of a number of factors besides his innate ability.

Eli won a championship in year four, and he was a big part of it. Anyone here think Sanchez is ready to lead the Jets to a championship next year? That is where the comparison ends.

and did anyone think eli was ready to win a championship??? also if u remember the SB game his receivers made bad throws into great receptions

You know what the difference is with all these wonderful comparisons....none of them sucked nearly as bad as Sanchez.

The dude in 3 years of play, has second most turnovers in the league. 63. 63. 63. Its literally a mircale the Jets are above .500 with Mark Sanchez as the QB.

And Eli has 59 in those same three years...and he's been in the league a lot longer than Sanchez, and has won a Super Bowl. Stop crying about that stat already.

If anyone did not know JIF hates Mark Sanchez, thinks he is the worst QB in the league. One of the worst all time.

There, now you can stop saying it in everyone of your posts. We all know.

Yeah, good point. Sanchez has never even gotten *close* to a Superbowl. It's not like he was one possession away last year, right? LOL

He's not the worst in the league. Damn close though. Definitely not the worst off all time.

But yes, I absolutely hate him and hope he never plays another down for the NY Jets. Probably not going to happen but thats how I feel.

I can do that too, you ******* crybaby. Four less turnovers in the same time frame out of someone who's been in the league for like 8 years, and who's won a Super Bowl. Your stat is pointless, just like you. Just stop whining, stop crying, and find something else to post about instead of blaming every problem on one player.

Stop acting like a spoiled child.

if you really think the Jets were in the Championship because of Sanchez, you are sadly mistaken. A strong running game and tough defense led the Jets. When the running game and defense were not as good, we all saw what Sanchez is made of. he does not have the ability to lead this team on his own. There is absolutely no way the Jets win a championship with this team. So much needs to be done.

I am saying a team that is built right with a great D and an offensive line to protect the QB and block for runners, with Sanchez can get the Jets there. C'mon Trent Dilfer went with the Ravens and Sanchez is better than him

The league has changed...more demanded of the position...hopefully he can get there but he definitely took a step back this year.

You know who else had comparable numbers in their third year? Jason Campbell and David Carr.

And tons of other mediocre quarterbacks that never turned into Eli Manning and Drew Brees.

It's not hard being one of the bottom five passers in football, really it isn't. To get people to believe you can be one of the TOP five passers in football and make silly comparisons because they believe in you no matter what evidence there is to the contrary, now THAT'S a trick!

I just don't know what some people see in Mark Sanchez' play that has led them to believe that he can become an elite quarterback. Or a top ten quarterback. I honestly do believe he can become a top twenty quarterback in this league, no doubt. Top twenty would be a ******* blessing. Fingers crossed!

In other words, the jury is out. That's the point. Get it?
