LAD_Brooklyn
Seems like he's running out of suitors. Think he'll be a good pickup at the right price. There was a good chance of him going to the Raven but they sign Dumbervile. Steelers are showing zero interest. Broncos want more of a 4-3 guy. Atlanta is going to sign Usi. Saints may be real suitors by they have under $4 mil in cap space. Signing him can allow us to place Barnes as a key reserve or 3rd rush guy in the case that we draft another OLB. bitonti
agree the Jets can use this player at a discounted rate.
JohnnyHector
Signing a high-character guy like Harrison would go a long way to rehabbing the Jets douchey image.
Maxman
Signing a high-character guy like Harrison would go a long way to rehabbing the Jets douchey image. The thread I would start about how the league targets him unfairly would be legendary.

faba
On a serious note he would bring toughness to the team which can not hurt bring him and Bradshaw in at reasonable costs
faba
The Pittsburgh Steelers told linebacker James Harrison that the team has no plans to re-sign him, a source told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Hensley: Harrison An Example Harrison, 34, was cut by the Steelers on March 9 after he refused to take a pay cut. The five-time Pro Bowl player was scheduled to make $6.57 million in 2013. Harrison has received very little interest in free agency, and he was taking a free-agent visit in Baltimore on Sunday when the Ravens agreed to terms with Elvis Dumervil. Harrison's agent told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that he hasn't closed the door on his client returning to Pittsburgh. The leading candidate to replace Harrison is Jason Worilds, a 2009 second-round pick. I believe that Jason Worilds is chomping at the bit to prove he is capable of being that," Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said last week at the NFL owners meetings. New York Mick
He's already has rings so maybe he'd sign here. He'd definitely bring an attitude on the field this team is lacking. On top of getting to listen to him and Rex complain about the refs
j4jets
He's old and doesn't have the same burst anymore. If he is ever asked to cover, he'll be a huge liability. He will be solid in a rotational role.

Il Mostro
Unless he's actually planning to call it a career, I doubt he'd come into camp out of shape and play with a complacent attitude, which was reportedly the problem last year. I think he probably has something left in the tank and is worth signing on a reasonable deal.
stoicsentry
Signing a high-character guy like Harrison would go a long way to rehabbing the Jets douchey image. Giants lineman David Diehl was arrested for drunk driving last year. An ex-Miami Dolphin was charged with child porn recently. I have no idea how the Jets gained this reputation as a bunch of outcasts and criminals. They have no more "bad guys" on the team than anyone else, and I would even suggest that they have less than most teams.
