KRL
Seems to be an ILB option based on his size: http://www.nfl.com/player/brucecarter/2495136/careerstats Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 42 minutes ago Former #Bucs and #Cowboys LB Bruce Carter is visiting the #Jets today, source said. They continue to look for LB help.

Same here, but considering he was supposed to be the MLB for Lovie Smith in TB I would assume he can run. Because MLB's in a "Cover 2" defense have to patrol a big area in the middle of the field

Bleedin Green
Well the plus side is that he played his first 2 years at ILB in the Dallas 3-4, so there's experience there, even if it was under Rob Ryan. He was also a cut this offseason, so no need for any of that comp pick sadness if they make a move here.

sourceworx
I read up a little on this guy. Former 2nd round pick who's played in Tampa 2 defenses most of his pro career, and struggled. However in his first two seasons with Dallas, he was an ILB in a 3-4 and played very well. He's worth a look. At worst he's depth.

Wilkshake69
I liked him a lot coming out of college, but this is a guy who has had a laundry list of injuries. If he comes cheap, I like him along the same lines of the Erin Henderson signing last year.
Tony The Wiz
Two years ago he might of been the Cowboys best defensive player. Really stepped up his game when Ware left. He needs to stay on the field and stay away from the injury bug. This will be a good signing.
Greenseed4
big fan of Bruce Carter. He's what Demario Davis was supposed to be.
ljr
big fan of these ... improve the bottom of the roster moves ... in addition to any diamond in the rough potential ... they definitely should improve our special teams from last season's travesty! Guilhermezmc
Based on his stats, looks like he is a lb who can cover, and that is one of ours biggest needs. Sign this beast
