Zach sucked and Rodgers sucks. They aren't mutually exclusive. ZW was a young QB trying to find his way and was dealt Pai Gow by this organization. AR8 is a HOF'er (albeit on the wrong side of 40). The fact that both are failing here has to do with the organization.

He hated the structure in Green Bay which was all about top down. The GM and HC runing the show to win championships. That's why GB wanted to get rid of Rodgers and Rodgers identified the Jets as the patsies the Jets are. The organizational structure of the Jets allowed Rodgers to install his friend as the OC and bringing in his friends to play with him. He came here because the Jets lacked structure and he was going to fill the void. Zach desperately needed structure. The Jets didn't provide it. With structure Zach probably never gets off the bench because he sucked. In Denver he might end up being a semi-competent backup for years.
ChewyandtheJets
As a long time fan/cynic/sufferer I am still impressed with how fast this has gone off the rails. Now all I can hope for is that Rodgers helps us complete the journey. He’s only second in interceptions we need that number higher. Tyron Smith should be kept at left tackle to embarrass himself and the Jets further with his run whiffs and blind side QB maulings. Head coach fired let’s fire the GM now mid-season it will have just as much of an impact. Woody pulls a Jerry Jones and becomes the official GM since he has been making these moves anyway. Hassan Reddick “pulls his hamstring” his first play from scrimmage (aka the Davante Adams) and is down for the year until we trade jim for a fifth round pick, thus converting our trade with the Eagles to a second rounder because Woody doesn’t understand how to read the trade agreement. We send Adams and a fourth rounder back to the Raiders for our third rounder so GM Woody has a better pick running his first draft. And last but not least we don’t win a single game more - if you gonna be a trainwreck be the best damn trainwreck you can be. And as Forrest Gump would say that’s all I have to say about that.

It’a the Jets’ fault for making him more than a QB and treating his arrival like some panacea or manna from heaven. Guys still have to do their jobs. It’s impossible to say what’s going on in the locker room or in guy’s heads. We don’t know these guys and we’re obviously not there. I’ve never heard an ex-teammate or current teammate rip AR. It’s always the media or fans, both Jet fans and non-Jet fans, who despise him for non-football reasons and can’t let go of whatever it is they have against him. After the Bills loss, as bad as it was, AR signed his game jersey with a nice note and had it delivered to Hamlin in the Bills locker room. Saul Goodman
This is turning out worse than the Brett Favre disaster. Didn’t think that would be possible.
freestater
That's funny. I thought I was watching with too much anger and not enough enjoyment.

Yeah, at least the first 11 games of Favre were fun. All 17 of these games are threatening to be horrible (plus all of last season, of course).
Trotter
since the Mets and Jets are similiar in so many ways (mostly bad) maybe this weekend is the turnaround and they begin a magical run.

#27TheDominator
Football is not a fun game. It's an angry game. The problem is nobody is angry enough to do what has to be done. Why hasn't Clemons duct taped this dude to the goalposts?
