4HCrew
wasn't he offered in the J Abe deal? would fit a couple of roles for the Jets and would compliment Blaylock nicely
Sperm Edwards
This one's more realistic. Don't know what Atlanta's asking price would be. But they do seem to like Norwood so that might make Duckett expendable.

Maxman
I had Duckett as my sleeper fantasy pick when he came out a few years ago. I never forgave him for letting me down. If he comes here, he owes me an apology.

4HCrew
the thinking was that he could serve as the short yardage role and compliment Blaylock. If we are looking for a legit #1 good luck finding that and not giving away the farm. The reason Julius Jones was brought up was because Parcells is a big fan of Tyson Thompson and they already have Barber who compliments Thompson well. There were a couple of reports around draft time that the Jets were already interested in Jones
faba
Everyone has to remember whatever other back they bring in we are not getting to get a star player handed to us- the best we can hope for is a complementary guy to add to the mix that we have now. Next season is the time to look for a real stud

Next season is the time to look for a real stud but, we need a back. won't one of the other teams that has an extra 1200 yd guy on the roster hand him over, in the interest of fair play? isn't football where th ephrase 'levelling the playing field' came from? come on, nfl, help ya brutha out! and while you're at it, stash a NT in with him... Yes the NFL wants the Jets and New York/New Jersey to have a winning team so common trade us Shawn Alexander Seattle
GM
At the falcons site they are suggesting TJ for DRob straight up....
Sperm Edwards
Sounds good. Pick the starter at the only position we're thinner at than RB and trade our starter for your backup. And we eat like $10M in dead cap space or whatever it is. Mmm-kay.
JetCane
Yeah really. There's no way we can trade DRob unless it is for someone like Wilfork. We can throw in McCairens and Ramsey for Big Vince, too.
The Troll
Bottom line: Unless Dallas wants to part with Julius Jones, we are not going to secure a running back that will be the MAN beyond this season. Duckett is sort of a 1st-round washout. He's a beast on the goal-line, but they gave him every opportunity in the world to beat out Warrick Dunn and he never did it. Not sure I'd give them anything higher than a 6th rounder for Duckett. As for Henry, I do believe his 15 minutes are up. Too small, too injury prone. I think the high workload in Buffalo pretty much fried him.
