Well these are hard to do. But I have to say that the odds of Dyson being the starting CB next year are slim. Real slim!

Great job UT, and as The Troll said very realistic. I especially like the addition of former ALABAMA all American Justin Smiley at OG. My only questionWhere's the NT? I can't see us going into next year with Pouha as our starting NT. :puke: I'd personally rather have us play a 4-3.

Vilma just for a 3rd? Give me either a 2nd this year, or this year's 4th rounder and next year's 1st from Cincy. Good luck getting a 3rd for Chad, maybe a 5th or 6th. No one wants Justin McCareins.

I still like your mock, it isn't over the top.

We're going to be the only team in the league starting 10 men on offense? Pretty ballsy.

And if we go into 2008 without either a proven NT, a prototypical NT prospect prior to round 4-5, or (gasp!) both, then Mangini should be dipped in gravy & fed to Michael Vick's dogs.

we're gonna be so good we'll only NEED 10 offensive players...

Heres a few of my disagreements:

I think we will get more than a 1st for Vilma. He's the kind of guy a 4-3 team will love. I genuinely wouldnt be surprised to see us get a mid/low 1st for him.

You have Quintin Groves down as our sole 1st rounder, I like the idea of Groves but he will be a mid/low 1st rounder at best and we're going to be picking high, very high, i dont want to see us reaching for players like this!!!

If we sign Randall Gay he is a starter, I guarantee it, especially considering that Dyson's in the dog house.

I dont want to see Pouha next season starting, i will cry if that happens. Was D-rob cut???

Ellis??? barton???I presume so.

Its realistic enough I suppose and its well though through unlike some people who are still in madden world.

Nice job as always, UT. Like the FA moves, LOVE the draft. Three questions:

1. Cosign Sperm's: don't you think we'd go after a NT in free agency? The only real NT available would be Isaac Sopoaga of the Niners, but even if he's not a starter, he provides good depth. Of course, this could all be moot if Terrance Taylor declares, in which case we should pull a Ditka and trade our entire draft for him.

2. Despite his poor performance and overall crappy play the last season and a half, I think we can get more than a 3rd for Vilma. Someone like Cincy would be willing to give up a 2nd, IMO. But reverse that for Chad; I doubt we get higher than a 4th for him. Then again, Tannenbaum has worked wonders with trades before, so who knows.

3. Do you think Bender will develop into a starting G for us? If not, I agree with the Smiley signing and Zuttah pick; if so, then the Zuttah pick can be replaced by an ILB (we have zero depth there) or maybe a developmental WR.
