afosomf
That explains it. I had pretty much given up golf, but my old golf partner was recently treated for cancer and really wanted to go out after he gained enough strength. So, two other old friends joined us and we took him out. He didn't do much except ride in the cart and putt, though he did hit a few tee shots. He had a great day and I was glad I did it, even though it reminded me how bad I am at golf. i take it you also live near or in Bingo town I have played most of the courses in that area also endwell greens (average) ely park (bad) the IBM course now known as heritage my favorite is Hiawatha, i always play at Cornell's university course in Ithaca, awesome track!!!!!!! I live one county away from there. Yeah, that Ely Park course is crap. Dimmock Hill is another ****hole. I've never played IBM/Heritage. We almost played that one instead of En-Joie, but En-Joie gave us the tee time we wanted. I was surprised how few people were on the course that day. afosomf
quite the nature exhibit in Vermont these past few days yesterday the big black bear today i was met my a huge snapping turtle resting on 3rd green next to pin and then a few holes later i hear a ton of commotion in the trees, i figure they sense a thunder storm approaching so i start looking at the clouds Hell no, i see 10 crows chasing after a huge hawk, in mid air these crows were attacking the hawk. From tree to tree and then right over my head, that hawk was scared for his life. afosomf
Afo's drill grip the club in your left hand, place your right palm facing the shaft but not touching it (there for guide purposes only) swing the club back ,,,you will notice the left wrist will want to hinge at about the hip, your left thumb will be pointed straight up to sky. now place 2 balls, 1 right behind your club(use a 7 iron) and another 3 feet behind the other ball on same line. Now swing the club back (same as above) you will notice the ball going back in a straight line and it will hit the ball placed 3 feet behind it. This is how your take away should feel, low and slow. Now place your right hand on club and hold it very gently and do same drill, make sure and see that both thumbs are pointed straight up. The right hand destroys the golf swing (for righties) If you grip the club tightly the left wrist will not hinge correctly.

afosomf
I attended a party this past weekend. After checking out all the well-dressed guests at the party, I spotted an attractive woman (standing alone) across the room. When I approached and asked her name, she coyly replied..."Carmen." Trying to maintain some sort of conversation with her, I responded with "That's a beautiful name, Is it a family name?" "No," she replied. "I gave it to myself, because it reflects the things I like most in the world - cars and men." Then she asked, "What's your name?" "Golft1ts," I replied. That is not even remotely close to being funny....FORE! I played my first 9 holes of golf this w/e. I'm a horrible golfer. I can drive, I can sort-of-kind-of-put - but my short game blows big junks of vomit if my driver lets me down. It's bad!
