I complain about my inconsistency but when you golf 2-3 times a month, I realize there's no point. I just don't have the time to dedicate to the game....yet.

I'm just happy I straightened out my driver and can hit 250-260 consistently. That's a start at least.

As for the sand.....well....foot wedge time.

it is impossible to play good golf when you play that little

i am up to 125 rds for the year and i struggle when i miss 1 day. Timing

is critical to a good swing.

for sand, play off your front foot, hit 2 inches behind call and follow thru, also

open the blade a tad at setup. Also no death grip, hands should be very soft

on club...pretend it is Max and you do not want to hurt him;)

Wow bro. 125 rounds, that is great. It's just amazing what goes into a golf swing vs other sports, where you can be off 5 months and get right back into the thick of things.

I have 2 golf outings coming up next week so I'll give your advice a shot when I hit the sand.

for a 10 yd sand shot, you should hit it like you have a 20 yd pitch shot

the follow thru does not have to be real long, however you can

never decelerate on your downswing.

That's my major problem. I'm always afraid I'm going to 'hit it too hard.

I need to go to the range and just hit out of the sand.

Time for most embarrasing Moment on the golf course

I was playing in Canada south of montreal a few years ago in late March, this

club named Club 2000 bulldozes snow off the course and is always 1st to open.

Anyway while we are stretching out, i noticed 100's of balls on a pond that

was completely iced over, saw another guy walking on it so i ventured

out on the ice, scooping up balls left and right. One of the guys i was

playing with sees me out there and screams %$#^&* if you fall thru that

ice you aint driving home with me. As i was 2 feet from land, and about

2 seconds after his tirade, i fell right thru ice into waist high water.

Not a fun day at all!!!!!!

I almost hit under 100 for the first time last weekend.

Good job!! It's funny how that's just some magic number when it comes to golf. Believe me, I'm the same way. I shot a 50 on the front nine one day and that was all that was in my head during the back nine. I think I finished with a 106. I was completely deflated that I crumbled like that.

shot 97 yesterday in 105 degrees -- I was soakin when I finished -- made a nice par on the final hole to keep it under 100 -- there are always 4 or 5 holes that eat me up

i shot a 79 today in a light rain and played in 1 hr 45 min

in a golf cart...no one else on course

i know i'm an addict and an idiot
