Gainzo
The best thing about this USA Hockey team is the goalie. Are you talking about the guy who played College Hockey at Michigan State?
Garb
Are you talking about the guy who played College Hockey at Michigan State? I guess. I don't follow college hockey (most people don't) unless, of course, my Huskies are in the mix.
StillerPaul
Finally got to watch a game. Can't believe how relentless USA is. It sure helps the goalie when your team outshoots the opponent by a wide margin too. Great win. Who's next ?

Bugg
Solid win. If NBC is dumb enough not to show Canada/Russia in it's entirety-with Crosby and Ovechkin-they need to be stopped. Basically 2 best forwards in the world, everything on the line, one goes home, one has a shot at gold. Bet we get ice dancing and Bob Costas and his amazing technicolor dream hair sitting on a couch babbling in front of a fake fireplace in 60-degree Vancouver. Canada-Russia, USA-Canada, and USA-Russia (if it had happened) were the three games that nbc absolutely had to show if they had a clue. They're going to end up showing exactly zero of the interesting matchups unless USA and Canada meet for gold. don't forget we get to see bob costas on a biplane for the first ten minutes of prime time coverage earlier this week. he kept talking about the bag of peanuts he got on the plane. what it had to do with the olympics I have no idea. slovakia up 4-3. winner gets canada friday night usa-finland friday afternoon

Bugg
Slovakia wins. That's a break for Canada.Could only stay awake for the 1st period of Sweden/Finland. Canada get a huge break not having to face Lundquist. Don't see anything or anyone on the Finn team that can deal with Canada's physical game. Only weakness-Pronger against some of the faster Finns like the Koivu line. EDITED- Bracket in this AM early Daily News had US playing Slovaks, Canada playing Finns. Stiill looks like a rematch of last Sunday this Sunday.
vanDoug
U.S. vs Canada women go for gold today in hockey as expected. They kicked serious butt along the way outscoring their opponents. U.S. 40-2 Canada 46-

Bugg
This game is noncompetitive. We're in for a rematch Sunday(assuming Canada can limit Gaborik and score, which is very doable), which is gonna be great.

So they had a little fun, so what. The team apologized to the IOC today. I agree, let them have fun, including the US guy that was sent home. That was BS, let them enjoy winning as long as nobody gets hurt. City bracing for post hockey tonight regardless of outcome. It's really unfortunate that a few jerks need to go over the top. They're probably not even real sports fans, just d!ick heads.

If you were young and had succeeded in an endevaor like this there's nothing wrong with blowing off a little steam. None fo them drove drunk or harmed anyone. What total nonsense. This is not junior high! is it classless when baseball players do it? Or when NFL players do it? Why is it classless because a bunch of females did it in celebration? Them celebrating with Champagne & Beer is them "not acting like ladies". What exactly are chicks supposed to do when they win something? Curtsy? GTFOH & take the stick out of your ass.
