It was a tacit acknowledgment that after drafting Coples, Wilkerson and Sheldon in the first round it would be asinine and stupid to draft another Dlineman creating the real possibility you would have your best players on the sideline in a D rotation while trotting out also rans at other positions for the whole game. Obviously rotating fresh young talented d-linemen late in a game would never prove to be advantageous. Also, the possibility of a trade in this day and age is non-existent. That pick should be franchise altering help not oh look now we will have a another fresh D lineman. In case anyone forgot this was the worst offensive team in football last year. Good thing we got a good D line rotation going though they wil be nice and rested good investment for a 4-12 team with the 6th overall pick. Barf!!!!!!!!
