Team to cheer on in NFC

Although I don't agree with most of the moves Chip Kelly has made to the eagles, with Tebow and Sanchez on the roster how can we not side with them to some degree ?  Don't get me wrong, I'll be rooting for the Jets when the teams play each other in regular season.  But, if Tebow makes the team they have to be our team to follow in the NFC.

You can follow, and even passively root for the Iggles. But I think it is really misguided to assume that a large portion of other Jets fans will too.

Neither of them did anything significant to endear themselves to the masses. Mark rode the coattails of two good teams but folded like a cheap lawn chair when asked to carry more weight. As for the other guy, no amount of prayer can turn water into wine. If you can't throw, you can't play QB.

First off let me make it 100% clear I'm a JETS FAN and ONLY A JETS FAN. I know people (especially "Pats* fans") that have 2nd and 3rd teams, and I've never felt that way towards another team, but I have enjoyed rooting for different teams at times for different reasons.

In the NFC lately I've rooted for Dallas, mainly in the playoffs last season. I just think Romo gets more shlt than he deserves and not enough credit for the player he is, and the way they built that offensive line was fun to watch.

One team I've always admired was Baltimore, mainly because I love physical, aggressive teams that can hit and smother their opponents, so when they had Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, etc I loved watching them play. When I heard we hired Rex in 09 I barely knew anything about him, not even that he was Buddy's son, but since he was Baltimore's D-Coordinator I loved the move. Unfortunately he wasn't able to seal the deal and win us a SB (although he came damn close twice), but hopefully Bowles will be able to have more success with the team as a whole while running a top tier, ass beating, intimidating defense to go along with a physical run game and sufficient QB play.
