Garb
With that defense, I'm pretty sure Alex Smith won't want to leave San Fran anytime soon. .

Garb
He'll have to after they sign Peyton. I could see THAT happening. Would they have the coin to sign some decent receivers?
SenorGato
I could see THAT happening. Would they have the coin to sign some decent receivers? With Peyton Manning they'll have decent WRs...Davis/Crabtree/Morgan have talent...Davis is an elite player...Heard the Manning to 49ers talk for the first time yesterday...They should stfu because J-E-T-S. Crabtree has potential to be good....Peyton could bring the good out of him, you're right there. Vernon Davis is a monster Tight End. They could use another receiver for sure though....they sure could have used Braylon this past weekend.

Skeet Ulrich
He'll resign with the 49ers, then they'll wonder why they go 8-8 next year.
Lupz27
ESPN just had a bit on free agency. clayton said alex smith is the biggest slam dunk to remain with his current team Was he talking about his fantasy league? Cause that's all he should be reporting on, he is terrible at these predictions. He is also turrible at fantasy to, so he is useless how he has a job is baffling. T0mShane
San Fran would be fools to not upgrade at QB next year. Other than the two shots to Vernon Davis (where the Giants were in bad coverages), Smith was horrible. That team, with a QB, could be a dynasty.
