Doggin94it
"John, you can make me start Geno - but you can't make me call pass plays if he's in at QB" I see no other way to understand the way this game has been called
Bleedin Green
Sure seems that way. If not that, then it's Mornhinweg's own personal **** you to everyone from Rex to Idzik to Woody.
AFJF
Wow...sitting on the 10 yd line and just said the same exact thing to my buddy. Definitely Rex telling Idzik what he thinks of his hand picked QB.

Rex'll have a job in the NFL as long as he wants to, John Idzik, not so much.

slats
Terry, Howie, Strahan, Rex. If that's Rex's choice, he'll be awesome there, too. Meanwhile, no one will give a sh*t what John Idzik has to say about football.

Bugg
Terry, Howie, Strahan, Rex. One of these things is not like the others having to do with jewelry.

slats
One of these things is not like the others having to do with jewelry. Wrong. Rex stacks GM bodies by the door. But other GMs will hire him. Tannenbaum should've been fired with Mangini, nothing Rex could do about that. Idzik never should've been hired, and will never be hired again. Bugg
Wrong. Tannenbaum should've been fired with Mangini, nothing Rex could do about that. Idzik never should've been hired, and will never be hired again. So Fox will jump on hiring the DL coach/failed HC to sit around with guys who have been major players/MVPs/multiple Super Bowl winning coaches. They usually have a comedian on staff anyway. I could be wrong though; Ray Lewis and Michael Irivin can barely speak English.

His only hope at another coaching job is to end up at a strip club with a drunk Jerry Jones this offseason. Maybe Jerry will give Jeff Weeks a job silencing his side-pieces. BallinPB
As much as Geno Smith sucks and we all know that, this loss is on the coaching staff. Horrible game plan. This is an NfL team not a college or high school team. Throw the damn ball! Give Geno a chance to at least try to establish some type of rhythm. LionelRichie
You're still thinking this was a serious gameplan? this was like a 7-year old temper tantrum from Rex but I think it was serious. I honestly think Rex wanted to win the game without throwing the ball to prove what a defensive genius he is.
Larz
it really seemed like it running it to make them put 8 and 9 in the box is a great strategy, but then you have to throw it on 1st down it's gross incompetence at best, insubordination at worst

Sperm Edwards
Yes because this is a professional organization! Or so I thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I should have stopped reading this post after "Yes" because that was a silly enough answer. Then it got sillier. I can sympathize with where you're coming from. But this was not a serious gameplan with an eye on winning a game tonight. The game was probably closer than they figured it would be.
