He didn't want to be traded to the Jets and that basically made the Jets give Sanchez and extension. So. No. That's not true he stayed in school because Parcell's wouldn't guarantee he would take him with the first pick in the 1997 draft. Hell, as much as I like the guy and think he's one of the smartest QB's to ever play the game, his playoff record is now 11-14. This is where the Jets need to come in and make an offer. We need a good QB, and re-uniting him with Eric Decker could kick-start our offense. He can also serve as a mentor for Geno. no. His arm is shot and his body is shot. His arm got steadily worse nd it was no longer strong to start with. He is just not physically up to the task any more. Gotta have a crack at him, that way geno at least gets the chance to develop properly and we can make a fair assessment of the guy. Our skill position development has been awful for decades this is 1 way to try and turn it around. He'll still have the entire off-season to heal his right quad. Take a page from Belicheat's playbook and give Manning some HGH and a 1 year deal.
