Rangers lost 1-3.  Did Fitz give the pregame speech?

"Look guys, you're doing it wrong.  You should've crumbled at the doorstep of the playoffs.  Then held the team hostage for insane salary demands.  Get your @sses out there and lose this for the beard!  Make me proud!"

On another note, he does seem like a fun guy to watch a game with.

This is pretty big IMO. Wouldn't surprise me if he signs before draft although many "experts" believe nothing will happen til after draft.

Mac will not want to show his hand either way during draft night. Other teams may not know for certain what game Mac is playing.

All this "trading up for a QB" could very likely be a smoke screen to get teams moving ahead of them for a QB and leaving an OLB or OT on the board for us.

All this talk about what the Jets are going to do and there is NOTHING coming out of Florham Park! Nothing but silence.

Maybe Mac is using old Foolish Woody to throw everyone off the scent?

Do they have the cap space to sign Fitz before the draft? Mo Wilk will need to be moved first?

Thats a good point. Right now probably not. rework a deal with Marshall or Gilchrist... then perhaps.

Would you agree it benefits Mac's draft strtegy to have Fitz signed to hide their intentions?

And no matter what they do in the Draft we need a starting QB for 2016

Nah. Whether he's signed before 4/28 or not the NFL teams know Fitz isn't the Jets future QB.

I think there is a deal in place behind closed doors just waiting for Mo to be moved so they can sign it.

Security tells out-of-control Rangers fan Nick Mangold to calm down

Nick Mangold roots for the Rangers like he’s playing center for the Jets. He goes after the opposition, only verbally.

For the second time this year, the Jets center attended a Rangers game, and harassed the opposing team like a diehard sitting in the upper deck six beers deep.

Mangold, wearing a blue Rangers sweater during the Penguins’ 3-1 Game 3 victory, exhibited similar behavior during a Rangers game against the Stars on Jan. 5. On Tuesday he was seen giving it to the Penguins before they took the ice in the third period, and was so out of control, security came over a few times to tell him to calm down, a source said. The Rangers declined to comment.

Mangold, 32, was specifically going at Penguins assistant coach Rick Tocchet and star center Sidney Crosby, pointing at them, a source said, and was seen leaning over the railing to talk trash. When approached by The Post afterward and asked about it, Mangold walked away, waved his hand and said: “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Mangold, free-agent quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jets wide receiver Eric Decker attended the game together, and received a nice hand from the crowd during the first period.

Taking the train?  Mangold and Decker got plenty of money to hire a car service makes you think it was a bit of a PR stunt to calm the fans down.  Also interesting you had Fitz AND Petty there but no Geno.  He's obviously the odd man out.

So I guess that the rest of the team are odd men out too?

Or he just doesn't like hockey. Where's Marshall? Where's Winters?
