The irony is that Todd Bowles wants several years to "build" his team but passed on the opportunity to develop Bryce Petty by refusing to bench Ryan Fitzpatrick. If Bowles wanted more than two years, he should have coached like it and benched under-performers for some of the younger players who can contribute next year and beyond.
