Barrett was overdrafted. Cant shoot and doesnt make up for it anywhere else. Team is bad. Knox already to the bench. Randle will volume shoot his way to an all star reserve spot and the Knicks will struggle to win 30 games.

Agreed, the Knicks are awful, Nilitkina is a bust and deserves to get cut, Smith Jr just doesnt care and deserves to get cut, Elfrid was never good, Randle can only be productive on a crappy team.  RJ's just an all around mediocre player and shud be out of the league in 4 years. Knicks will go 27-55.

Trier is our only guard who can shoot plus he can even create his own shot.  He needs heavy minutes in the rotation 

 

Also, Mitch needs to start.

It's hard not to get a little excited about Barrett. It's the Knicks so on the balance of probabilities he still most likely winds up being an inveterate chucker with no shame and no conscience. So far so good though.

Barrett can play. If Zion turns out to be too athletic / explosive for his frame, Barrett could contend with Morant to be the best player from this draft. DSJ is a nightmare. It's like the Knicks trying to make me like Stevie Franchise all over again.

What's more likely: he becomes Melo part deux and we sign him to a max deal orrr he becomes a star and we package him for an aging superstar like Harden when the rockets fail to win the west? And Harden plays 50% of the games on his contract and Barrett becomes a perennial all-star.

It’s amazing how the same day DSJ doesn’t play the defense looks competent and the Knicks win

 

Perry wants to be vindicated for trading KP but be happy with the two firsts and try to trade Smith while he still has some value.

 

Perry should also consider trading Randle and starting Portis at PF
