I don’t recall hearing you ask them that question.... What it has do do with Darnold as a comparison of performances over equal time should be obvious. But as I said, if you see nothing interesting here, No worries. SummerofSam14 144
Anyone who watched Sam Darnold last year and compared him to this season it’s a totally different player.
DetroitRed 1,716
Sams having a better year this season. That defense today has allowed very few 200 yd passing games Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
Jets723 4,665
Sam is a work in progress. Obviously I’m a big Sam fan and I think we have our QB for the future but he is obviously not reached his potential yet. I try to be as fair as possible. That first drive he had against a very tough defense was as impressive as you can get. After that he had some struggles. However some of it is just a tough Pitt defense. Some is also the oline which sucks for his first two years. However Sam also made 3 bad throws including one that should have been a pick. Those are things he needs to fix and I believe he will. Despite some struggles he still led the team down to get points to seal the game. So right now he is in the middle. He needs to improve but he also needs more help

jetstream23 31,653
In terms of good D’s the Jets have faced it will be NE twice, Buffalo twice, Pitt, Baltimore and possibly others. Not easy defenses. Next week could be a good final test.
Integrity28 75,242
I like how you guys argue the totality of Sam's career from start to finish, based on the hyperbole after each game... better yet, each throw. Rather than just saying, "he did okay today" or "he was great" or "awful"... it's always, "he's the next A-A-Rodgers" or "he's the next Poops McGee" and then you all argue the semantics of things that haven't happened yet. It gives me hope for the human race.
Jet Life 1,837
Not the best performance but played a good defense. 6-6 this season as a starter with not much talent around him. Nice improvement from last year

pdxgreen 5,020
He's taken a lot of hits this season (in more ways than one) including being punched in the dick yesterday. I'd say hes performed just fine.

tfine 553
Sam has improved in every category from last year: Higher Comp pct 61 percent up from 57 More TDs Less Interceptions More YPA85 QB rating up from 77 2 game winning drivesAll behind a sh*ttier OL and patchwork WR and TE Corps It’s pretty remarkable if you think about it Sent from my iPhone using JetNation.com mobile app
