Again fellas - we have plenty of picks.

In a magical world where that Carolina trade happens, for example, the thing to do is to package a number of those picks to move back into the top ten and try to get two blue chip prospects in this draft. (e.g. Chase and Slater).

You can only have so many rookies.

Yeah, just what I want, 20 or so rookies of which 4 might stick to the roster. How about trading late round picks so you can pick 6+ times in the first three rounds instead of 12 players in round four and further down?

Idzik is having a wet dream with this draft scenario

Some of you are Reacting negatively because you do not see the big picture or understand it. Yes I drafted 21 players (which is a lot). That said we have a lot of holes to fill and need to create competition, at just about every position. Basically, overhauling the entire roster and building both depth and pipeline. Plus we can create additional Cap room in doing so and have the ability to sign guys getting cut from other teams.. Some of you asked who I am cutting to me room, so let me explain the method to the madness.

At the moment we have 71 players on the roster under contract. At the end of the day, we have to get down to 53 players and have 10 on the practice squad.

Right off the bat I am cutting these 29 players creating an additional 14M - (Total of 34M Available after cuts)
