It is NEVER easy competing for the best FA's, in many cases we have to over pay an over term. We have a ridiculous 44 million tied up in lazard. Once again at guard, we will be competing with many teams of any quality olinemen. No team trades an olineman that is any good Nothing you say is easy except for #1, as long as we lose out. derp Posted December 24, 2023 Share Posted December 24, 2023 This plan will cost a ton of money and push cap hits into the future but despite the cost: 1) probably requires the Jets lose out to get the tackle via the draft even though they’ll be favored in two of their last three games 2) doesn’t include the name of the right tackle (because there isn’t really anyone available and 3) leaves Allen Lazard as a starter I think the fix may not be so easy.
