Commanders waived/released TE Cole Turner, WR Kaz Allen, C Ricky Stromberg, CB Chigozie Anusiem, OT Armani Taylor-Prioleau, S Kendell Brooks, WR Mitchell Tinsley, WR Martavis Bryant, C Cameron Tom, CB Tariq Castro-Fields, WR Brycen Tremayne, T Braeden Daniels, WR Davion Davis, CB Nick Whiteside II, OG Julian Good-Jones, RB Michael Wiley, DE Jalen Harris, CB AJ Woods, QB Sam Hartman, DE K.J. Henry, DE Justin Hollins, DE Andre Jones Jr, RB Austin Jones, CB Kyu Blu Kelly, QB Trace McSorley, DT Haggai Ndubuisi, OT David Nwaogwugwu, CB James Pierre, LB Anthony Pittman, DT Benning Potoa’e, S Sheldrick Redwine, RB Chris Rodgriguez Jr., WR Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, and LB Chapelle Russell.

The former fifth-round wasn’t long for Washington after the team signed Zach Ertz and drafted Ben Sinnott. Heading into his third season, another team could take a flier on Turner in hopes of developing him as he’s only 24 years old. The move clears the runway for Sinnott to serve as a rotational TE2 to start his rookie campaign.

Falcons waived/released WR Chris Blair, DB Natrone Brooke, RB Spencer Brown, WR Dylan Drummond, EDGE Prince Emili, TE John FitzPatrick, WR OJ Hiliare, CB Anthony Johnson, DT Zion Logue, DT LaCale London, WR Jesse Matthews, DE Kehinde Oginni, DB Jayden Price, OT Andrew Stueber, S Tre Tarpley III, DT Tommy Togiai, RB Carlos Washington, OT Barry Wesley, S Dane Cruikshank, OT Julien Davenport, EDGE Demone Harris, DB Kevin King, LB Milo Eifler, and S Josh Thompson.

Cruikshank was considered a long shot to make the roster even after the Falcons signed him earlier this offseason. The veteran safety has turned into a journeyman since being let go by the Titans at the end of the 2021 season. We’ll see if he’s able to catch on with another team now that he’s free to do so.

Vikings waived/released S Lewis Cine, RB Kene Nwangwu, CB Nashon Wright, LB Andre Carter II, OL Henry Byrd, OG Tyrese Robinson, WR Lucky Jackson, WR Jeshaun Jones, WR Thayer Thomas, DL Jaquelin Roy, LB Dallas Gant, LB Bo Richter, TE N’Keal Harry, CB Duke Shelley, RB Myles Gaskin, DB Bobby McCain, DL James Lynch, TE Robert Tonyan, DL Jonah Williams, WR Malik Knowles.

Tonyan was thought to have had a strong shot at making the Vikings’ roster, with T.J. Hockenson (knee) opening the year on injured reserve. Tonyan surprised in 2020 when he caught 52 passes for 586 yards and 11 scores, but was limited to just five games in 2021 due to injury. He’s caught 64 passes for 582 yards and two scores over the last two seasons and was relegated to a backup role last season with the Bears. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him catch on with another team in the coming days.

Chargers waived/released G Karsen Barnhart, TE Luke Benson, DL Jerrod Clark, S Akeem Dent, RB Elijah Dotson, OLB Andrew Farmer II, TE Tucker Fisk, WR Jaelen Gill, LB Frank Ginda, CB Matt Hankins, S Thomas Harper, TE Zach Heins, DL Christopher Hinton, OLB Savion Jackson, LB Jeremiah Jean-Baptiste, WR Cornelius Johnson, WR Jaylen Johnson, CB Robert Kennedy, C Brent Laing, T Alex Leatherwood, LB Shane Lee, OLB Tre’Mon Morrish-Brash, DL CJ Okoye, TE Donald Parham, G Willis Patrick, QB Luis Perez, S Jalyn Phillips, LB Shaq Quarterman, TE Isaac Rex, OLB Ty Shelby, RB Isaiah Spiller, CB Zamari Walton, and WR Isaiah Wooden.

The big names are obviously Isaiah Spiller and Donald Parham Jr., but neither had the draft capital of Leatherwood, who continues to struggle to find a place in the NFL despite being the 17th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. It’s fair to wonder if he’s run out of chances.

Titans waived WR Kyle Philips.

Hyped as a Day 3 slot man in 2022, Philips ended up catching just 23 passes across his first 13 NFL games as he dealt with injury. A training camp hamstring issue was probably the final straw this summer as the Titans broke in a much deeper receiver corps.

Bears waived/released QB Austin Reed, TE Brenden Bates, OL Theo Benedet, OL Jake Curhan, DL Jamree Kromah, DL Dashaun Mallory, LB Micah Baskerville, LB Carl Jones Jr., DB Leon Jones, DB Reddy Steward, DB Ro Torrence, LS Cameron Lyons, P Corliss Waitman, QB Brett Rypien, FB Khari Blasingame, WR Collin Johnson, OL Aviante Collins, DL Byron Cowart, DB Greg Stroman Jr., DB Adrian Colbert, DB Tarvarius Moore.

Reed signed with the Bears as a UDFA out of Western Kentucky but lost the QB2 battle to incumbent Tyson Bagent. Reed completed 75 percent of his passes in the preseason while throwing for 122 yards and a touchdown. It’s possible he returns as a member of the practice squad, but he won’t be threatening for a job any time soon.

Cardinals waived/released RB Michael Carter, WR Andre Baccellia, LB Markus Bailey, LB Krys Barnes, OL Jackson Barton, DL T.J. Carter, S Andre Chachere, WR Dan Chisena, CB Jaden Davis, RB Hassan Hall, OL Marquis Hayes, DL Phil Hoskins, OL Keith Ismael, DL Naquan Jones, LB Tyreek Maddox-Williams, DL Myles Murphy, LB Trevor Nowaske, WR Tejhuan Palmer, CB Bobby Price, QB Desmond Ridder, TE Bernhard Seikovits, LB Tyreke Smith, DL Ben Stille, TE Blake Whiteheart, OL Elijah Wilkinson, CB Divaad Wilson and TE Sage Surratt.
Carter somehow emerged as the Cardinals’ RB2 down the stretch last season, but his services were no longer needed following rookie Trey Benson’s strong summer. Carter could end up back on the practice squad.

The Texans are keeping Dameon Pierce and Cam Akers as backup options for Joe Mixon. British Brooks made the roster as the team’s fullback. Taylor will be a candidate for the team’s practice squad.

Colts waived/released DE Genard Avery, CB Chris Lammons, WR D.J. Montgomery, TE Eric Tomlinson, WR Laquon Treadwell, CB Micah Abraham, LB Austin Ajiake, LB Liam Anderson, QB Jason Bean, DE Levi Bell, S Marce Dabo, RB Demetric Felton, OG Arlington Hambright, RB Evan Hull, DT Eric Johnson, DT Jonah Laulu, DE Titus Leo, TE Jordan Murray, C Mike Panasiuk, RB Zavier Scott, CB Jaylin Simpson, CB Ameer Speed, S Michael Tutsie, OT Jake Witt, LB Craig Young.

Treadwell caught 10-of-11 targets for 121 yards and one touchdown this preseason. The former first-round pick played a handful of snaps on offense for the Ravens last season but hasn’t done anything of note since 2021, when he went for 33-434-1 with the Jaguars. At 29 years old, Treadwell could still garner some interest as a practice squad body, but he’s unlikely to stick on a 53-man roster this season.

Dolphins waived/released WR Erik Ezukanma, LB David Anenih, WR Je’Quan Burton, S Jordan Colbert, DT obert Cooper, WR Mike Harley Jr., OL Chasen Hines, RB Zander Horvath, LB Dequan Jackson, WR Jadon Janke, CB Isaiah Johnson, OL Matthew Jones, CB Jason Maitre, OT Bayron Matos, WR Kyric McGowan, DT Leonard Payne, S Mark Perry, TE Hayden Rucci, RB Chris Brooks, OT Ryan Hayes, WR Braylon Sanders, LB Curtis Bolton, LS Blake Ferguson, DT Neville Gallimore, DT Jonathan Harris, DT Isaiah Mack, RB Anthony McFarland, and CB Nik Needham.

Ezukanma made the Dolphins as a UDFA back in 2022 but has just one reception to his name through two seasons. With the emergence of several young receivers, including rookie Malik Washington, Ezukanma lost his foothold on a roster spot during cutdowns. It’s possible he catches on with another team or ends up back on the Dolphins’ practice squad, should he clear waivers.
