Not much surprise today as the Jets list linebacker CJ Mosley as doubtful for this Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.  Mosley is nursing a toe injury that forced him to leave the Tennessee game two weeks ago and kept him on the sidelines last week.

CJ Mosley is officially listed as doubtful for Sunday against the Broncos.

With no Mosley, look for the less experienced but more athletic Jamien Sherwood to get the start after playing well in Mosley’s place over the past two weeks.

Filling in for Mosley over the past two and a half weeks, Sherwood has racked up 21 tackles (1 for loss) and has been an upgrade in coverage over Mosley.

Gee who knew a guy with a cap hit of over 7 million and a dead cap charge of 24 million would be easily replaced by a guy 1.1 mill cap hit and like an 88 grand dead cap money.

Never pay an ILB who just makes tackles in this league!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sherwood has not been the problem on this defense.  He has stepped in well for Mosley.

Mosley is under (an expensive) contract in 2025.  Sherwood is not.

good thing Sherwood is showing us what he can do. now it makes it harder for us not to sign him.
