JetsMan57
This is the same team that was lighting it up on offense only two short years ago. The offense has been officially hermanized. Who will play oline for the chiefs this year? Traffic Cones? Herm still doesnt quite understand that you cannot sign UDFA and plug them into the OLINE and expect all to go well. Players will get hurt. Chad Pennington 2005 hurt. Goodness they are going to suck.

Be inadequate and Destroy team. Draft a young QB for future Bus needs. Step 2 - 2007. Play the new QB and announce to press "it's tough winning with a first-year starting qb." Step 3 = 2008. johnny green balls
SJ, you left off firing the offensive and defensive coordinators OC solari is definitely getting booted this year, he already had a partial tossing the first or second game last season and their offense is going to be terrible this year. herm "setup" edwards has him marinating for bus duty. KC's sports page will lead with the story "Sorry, Solari!" before week 8, bank on it.

Not only that but Herm will attempt to spin himself as being a tragic hero for "carrying" the incompetant coodinator for so long. This all having to do with Herm's high moral character and that good stuff... Then the team will need time to adjust to the new coordinator. Getting onto the same run run run punt page doncha know Takes a while. I think we have already heard bits and pieces from Herm suggesting that he inherited and old team so I am sure an extra little while will be needed to complete the retooling. My money is still on KC to be better than the Raiders this year in the west but it might be close.

Did I miss all the SB's KC was winning before Herm got there? this is afranchise w/ ZERO playoff wins since 1994- what exactly was he destorying? The only reason the Chiefs made the playoffs last year was because the stars aligned perfectly and the most unlikely playoff tiebreaker scenario broke the Chiefs way. He didn't make any excuses, he went out and took a team to the playoffsthat hadn't beenthere in 3 years and had been there once in 8 years. W/ less talent on offense KC scored 331 points while the Jets scored 316. The bottom line is he guided that team to the playoffs, he improved the D and the O was good enough. it's damn impressive that he could lead them to a 5-3 record w/ Damon Huard as the starting QB. JohnnyLV
Let's face it: It took Jets fans a long time to realize tha Herm was the problem and not Hackett or Cotrell or Henderson. The thing is though is that everyone in the league should know now that Herm is a terrible head coach, yet KC traded a draft pick for him, and he is systematically ruining KC just like he almost ruined us. It is really amazing actually.

I knew we were going nowhere with Herm very early. Gave him a pass in 2001 cause he was a rookie, but when I saw us come out of the gates unprepared and out of shape for the start of the 2002 season and when I saw that Herm still couldnt tell time I knew he was hopeless. If you want to win 9, 10 games and get embarrassed int he playoffs herm is your guy. If you want to win a super bowl look elsewhere.
